The Mamelodi Sundowns Academy hosted our learners for a soccer career day experience at the Clapham High School Soccer field. Our learners received the opportunity to challenge the skilled-trained youth club team in a quest to understand where they need to improve so they can also become potentially recruited by the sports club in the future. Our learners engage in conversations with the club representatives in order to gain guidance and professional advice on how they can become professional soccer players. Mr. Shawn Bishop, the Head of Methodology and Academy at Mamelodi Sundowns did an awesome job in giving our learners advice and tips that can be seen in our videos. His advice contributed positively to the learners as they are now more determined and motivated than ever to perform better.

Soccer has a way of changing the lives of people and helping them forget about all their daily life challenges. To others, it brings about hope, happiness and a sense of belonging. This sports industry has brought so much positive change in the lives of people and has opened so many opportunities for those who are at a disadvantage. The Mamelodi Sundowns is one of those successful organizations that has brought tremendous change in the lives of young men and women. This organization has achieved so much in its quest for success that it is one of the leading sports brands in Africa.
We were so impressed with the way the Mamelodi Sundowns Academy team conducted themselves. You can clearly see by the way these young boys conducted themselves as young men that behavioral attributes in the Football Club are not compromised. This was such an extremely pleasant experience and it has made us aware of how much talent South Africa has in Football.
